Okay, so it's nearly the late May Bank Holiday
Tomorrow is the late Spring Bank Holiday. It's always nice to have an extra day added to the weekend and I'll always try to find something to do as, if I don't, one of two things will happen:
- someone else will find me stuff to do (seldom a "good thing" or...
- I'll spend the day in the house regretting that I've wasted a day that I won't get back
Anyway, I have an extra incentive this weekend as I recently acquired a new camera - a Hasselblad SWC. This is a beautiful piece of kit with a fixed 38mm f4.5 Zeiss Biogon lens (I have no idea about the technicalities of why a Zeiss Biogon is a good lens - it just is).
However, where to go? Well, I live in East Anglia - the bit of the UK to the NE of London and that sticks out into the North Sea. The forecast for tomorrow isn't great but, rain or not, I'm running a roll of film through my new Hassy - to ensure it works properly, as much as anything.
Hopefully, I'll have the results back shortly and I'll post a review with some photos as a new Gallery.
Here's hoping we all have a well-deserved and enjoyable Bank Holiday.
